My Little Man

My kid is hilarious! Yesterday morning, I went to wake him up for day care, and he told me it was still night night time cause it was dark outside. Any time, I want to sleep in, he's up at the crack of dawn, no matter what time he goes to sleep. But yesterday, he did not want to get up. I finally got him convinced that it really was morning time, and got him to day care on time for me to get where I needed to be.
When we got home last night after day care, he was ready to play some xbox, but of course Scott was playing Guitar Hero, so he had to wait his turn. after he played for an hour, and his time was up, he came into the kitchen to help me cook. It was fun. We made hamburger helper, and homemade cornbread. He had fun measuring things out and stiring everything. Then he watched Scott play the football game on xbox. He decided he was the opposite team, and everytime Scott got tackled, he would jump around and get all excited. It was really cute!
He's growing up so fast. I can't believe that he is almost 5 years old!

Back to work

So, while I've technically been off this week, I think I've gone into work almost everyday. either phisically or on the phone...it's alright though...I love my Natalie, so it's all good! I have to go into work tonight for the catholic service. It will be good since I'll be out most of the day tomorrow due to dr appointments and my excel class that I'm not really learning anything in. I've had fun spending time with Ryan this week, but am so ready for him to burn his energy off at day care next week. I've been taking Financial Peace University on Tuesday nights, and I'm really enjoying it. I've created a budget, and am going to stick to it. So far, so good! This week is going to be crazy busy, we have the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday. That means the #2 guy in the Chaplain Corps is cming to town, and we have lots to do to finish getting things in order. Only 3 more weeks, and i will be going to ALS. Which means, lots of studying, and still the pressures of work, I'm pretty sure. We get another guy in this week, which means I may be up for orders soon. I don't really care if we get orders or not, I like working with Natalie. It'll be a different story when Recto gets back though. I'll be ready for one of us to leave then. I just hope that if I do stay, I don't have to deploy in September. My baby is starting Kindergarten this year, and I really don't want to miss out on that. I am starting to study for SSgt which means more money, so please be praying! I guess that's all for now...thanks for listening to my ramblings...
